Love is too great A burden

The world is beautiful and there are so many good people all around. And these good people teach us many good things. One of those good things is that we should love everybody. We should be kind to people. We should not deceive anybody. We should act morally. These concepts are quite interesting. So, all kinds of good people are spreading so much goodness all around. So there are so many good concepts, some of which I just mentioned.

But frankly speaking, all these concepts are just bullshit nonsense. Seriously! In the real journey of life, all these good concepts are just bogus and outdated. It looks good to read it and you'll feel good to hear that. But if you practically implement that in real life, then I bet you don't gain much as far as consciousness, enlightenment and all the spiritual values that we talk about. I tell you, righteous conduct of manhood is different from what society teaches us. Society only teaches us ways to be an adjustable part of the society.

I'm not cursing goodness. Neither am I spreading negativity. Am I? I'll come to the main point. What I'm trying to focus on is not goodness, is not love but consciousness. Truth is, goodness is the very essence of a noble man and love is what we live for. But we cannot attain to goodness by focusing on goodness and we cannot love by focusing on love. It seems complicated and is actually very complicated. Because all these values have been taught to us by the people who were not enlightened. And by learning these values, our journey towards our own enlightenment is hampered.

"Yes, we have to fill our hearts with goodness and love." We have to make the world better and we have to spread love all around. But my main focus is that we should know the way to our own enlightenment. We should realise how we will become what we should be. And if we go on the wrong way, we would never reach the goal, the goal to reach the higher levels of consciousness where we would be able to claim with confidence that the conduct of our manhood is righteous and justifiable. And the right way, I bet is very complicated. I call it complicated because the way we are, is going to make "the way" seem complicated enough.

Love is too great a burden for us. We are unable to carry the weight of love and goodness on us while moving on in life, while rising in our innate and passionate quest for spiritual enlightenment. It is certainly a burden because the right way is far ahead of us. Last but not the least, the right way is to develop our consciousness. That is truly the only way on which we attain to absolute goodness and love in our hearts. And that'll for sure not make you realise that you're on the wrong way.

Became a Sannyasi

Without darkness, light loses its significance. Comfort and luxury in life often resists you from moving towards a truthful psychology. Wisdom loses its importance in good times. All talk of paradise starts when something has been lost.

Psychologists say that the psychological foundation of a man is always rooted deep inside his childhood. My childhood days were full of innocence and playfulness. Being the smallest family member, I was an over-loved and over-cared child in my family. I've always loved to read and write something beautiful. My interests have been in all the creative things whether its music, writing, dancing, meditation or spirituality.

Times of confusion are the luckiest times when you really stop wandering and start searching for the right path. After graduating from the high school, my times of confusion allowed me to search for something worth doing. This was the time, I started reading a lot of philosophical articles on books, newspapers and the internet websites. I also started watching lots of movies on my DVD player. One more great hobby was listening to music. This hobby was great in the sense that I was able to listen to almost every Indian music song released between the years 1990 and 2008.

After getting bored from Indian music, I started listening to classical music on Internet radio stations. And, after reading so many philosophies, I started listening to Brahmakumaris on Sanskar TV Channel. Later on, I visited a Brahmakumaris center and completed a 1 Week Course on Spirituality. After completing this course, I started doing the Raja Yoga in Brahmakumaris Center. Women in the Brahmakumaris Center were blessed with purity and an entirely different kind of attitude. I've never seen those type of women in the society. They were some special people.

I remember my childhood days when Hanuman Chalisa was included in my daily evening routine. But, reading and listening to Brahmakumaris in my youth age was like a revolution. First time, I was consciously interested in digging the inner realities of this world.

I was not done yet. I wanted something more, something different to explore. It was some late evening time somewhere in October 2009 when my father was having a long general conversation with one of his friend who was an Osho Sannyasin. At that time, all I knew about Osho was that he was a religious guru. I thought I should try something to read from Osho. I asked my father's friend to lend me some Osho literature. He gave me an Osho Magazine titled "I Celebrate Myself." After reading that Magazine, I realised that I have been reading all types of nonsense throughout my life. Later on, I purchased some books by Osho titled "Bliss," "Krishna: The Man and His Philosophy," "I am The Gate" and "The Rebel."

I attended my first full day Meditation Camp on December 06, 2009. First time, I discovered myself. My experiences with meditation has been life changing. I call it life changing because my consciousness started rising to new heights. Innocence is purity but, it is a curse. Innocence in this disordered so called society is a curse because in the world of rascals, an innocent person can be nothing more than an Idiot.

I realized my innocence and the need for more and more consciousness. Luckily, I belong to a reputed doctor family and my moral values have always been on the top of my life character. But, it was time for me to understand life beyond morality and beyond philosophies.

I've been to many temples and I've bowed down to many Gods. But, when I bowed down to Osho, it was from my heart. I became a Sannyasi on October 02, 2011. My Sannyas name is Swami Dhyan Samarpan. That was just a beginning.

Love without Attachment

After many years of meditation, my perspective on love has changed completely. Like everybody, I used to understand love as attachment. But, the more I became a meditator, the more my ideas on love have shifted towards the truth. Attachment is like bondage. Love is like heaven. Love without attachment is like true love.

Almost everybody thinks that attachment to a person is love. But, this is not true. Attachment is a mad love where obsession, jealousy and possessiveness are rooted deep inside. This is the reason why couples live a dissatisfied love life. Misery is bound to come along with Attachment. It is a psychological fact.

Modern life is not an ordinary life where television, media, entertainment and technology have become the major part of personal and professional life. In the world of films and television programs, you will often come across Love Stories revolving around attachment. Then, all you will learn about love is just attachment and nothing higher. But, this is not love.

Modern life is a race. And the whole social structure is nothing more than a disorder. Young people are growing up watching the violence, attachment and the so called love stories on television and films. Socially, we have moved far away from truth. Time has come to move closer to truth so that we can be blessed by god- the ultimate reality. But, the journey to truth is always an individual journey. And, your journey towards truth is going to be your journey. My journey towards truth is going to be entirely mine.

Without darkness, light loses its significance. Comfort and luxury in life often resist you from moving towards a truthful psychology. But, there have always been Buddhas who continue to move alongside the so called society. So, whenever you get a chance to listen or read an enlightened religious figure, please go ahead and find your journey.

But, reading or listening to a buddha will not do the job. The disordered social pattern of our so called society needs meditation so that you can start meditating and become a buddha. And, until you become a buddha, you will never understand the true sense of love and the false substance of attachment.

Albert Hall Museum, Jaipur
